NGINX.COM
Web Server Load Balancing with NGINX Plus

It’s a season for giving thanks here in the United States, and the NGINX team worldwide has quite a lot to be thankful for. Ten years after Igor Sysoev wrote the original code that became NGINX, it powers more than 140 million websites – that’s more than 20% of all websites worldwide and over 40% of the 10,000 busiest. We find ourselves perpetually in awe of the ways you, our users, use NGINX and NGINX Plus to accelerate and power your own applications, businesses, and dreams, and we are so proud to work with you.

We often hear “I know NGINX as an open source solution – I didn’t realize it was a company, too.” Indeed! NGINX, Inc. was formed in 2011 with two goals in mind: to continue to develop and maintain the NGINX Open Source distribution, and through our NGINX Plus offering to provide commercial subscriptions and professional services to customers using NGINX in production environments.

In short, we’re thankful for you. It is your support that has enabled us to scale so successfully.
