At NGINX Conf 2019, NGINX announced several new solutions designed to help DevOps, NetOps, and SecOps teams better collaborate in delivering modern applications. Highlights included open source innovations, product updates, and news from ecosystem partners Arm and NS1.
NGINX is expanding its offerings for the public cloud. Enhancements include support for Amazon EC2 A1 Instances, CentOS 8, and RHEL 8; the NGINX Plus Enterprise Edition; a developer marketplace in partnership with DigitalOcean; and new NGINX Plus Certified Modules.
NGINX announced the expansion of its international presence with the establishment of an office in Tokyo, Japan. Joining APCJ offices in Australia and Singapore, the new office provides local language and technical resources to NGINX customers and partners in Japan.
NGINX announced that it continued its rapid growth in 2018. It now has more than 1,500 customers, including 3 of the 5 largest global banks, 3 of the 5 largest U.S. retailers, and 5 of the 10 largest technology companies.
