2004

NGINX F/OSS First Release

Igor Sysoev creates NGINX to solve the C10K problem, revolutionizing how servers operate in high‑performance contexts. Now, more than half of the Internet’s busiest websites use NGINX.

2011

NGINX, Inc. Founded

Igor Sysoev co‑founds NGINX, Inc. to support the expansion of NGINX and develop NGINX Plus, which provides enterprise‑level support and professional services for customers using NGINX in production environments.

2016

NGINX Hits 100 Employees
