Roman is a member of the core development team at NGINX. He contributes to a variety of open source and commercial features including HTTP and TCP/UDP proxying, caching, and video streaming. He manages several open source third‑party NGINX modules, including the RTMP streaming module. Prior to NGINX, Roman worked developing distributed storage systems and video streaming solutions.
