Igor Sysoev’s passion for solving the C10K problem led him to become the author of NGINX, which was initially released in 2004. NGINX’s popularity and use became so widespread that Igor co-founded NGINX, Inc. in 2011. He has 15 years of experience in deeply technical roles and is currently the Chief Technology Officer.
Maxim Konovalov co-founded NGINX, Inc. in 2011 and is currently the Vice President of Engineering. He brings 20 years of extensive leadership experience in software development, IT infrastructure, corporate information systems, and open source product and project management.
Mark brings over 30 years of financial and operational expertise as Chief Financial Officer of NGINX, Inc. Mark’s extensive leadership experience includes holding the position of Chief Financial Officer at technology companies including Mercadao Software, Match.com, and nCircle Network Security.
Rob Whiteley serves as Chief Marketing Officer of NGINX. He has led marketing, product, and analyst teams for companies like Hedvig, Riverbed, and Forrester. Rob uses his experience working with enterprise IT and DevOps customers to deliver thought leadership and drive demand for modern IT infrastructure solutions.

MJ has a proven background in successfully building and growing start-up sales organizations.
Sidney Rabsatt is Vice President of Product Management at NGINX responsible for leading product strategy. Sidney is an experienced leader with a proven track record of building winning Enterprise products across a variety of markets. Sidney has also held leadership roles at Riverbed Technology and Packeteer and technical roles at Hewlett-Packard and IBM.
As Vice President of Engineering, Eric brings more than 20 years experience building SaaS and enterprise applications, ranging from startups to Fortune 500 companies. Eric has a proven track record of understanding customer needs and leading teams that rapidly deliver high-quality products to market.

As the Head of Asia Pacific, based in Singapore, Norbert has extensive executive experience and a deep understanding of growing companies in the Asia Pacific region. Norbert has held leadership positions at KEMP, Astaro, WatchGuard, Oracle and Lexmark. He has extensive experience of initiating and sustaining growth and has managed a number of regional start ups in Asia Pacific.
Ian Knight serves as Head of Americas and is a customer-focused executive with more than 25 years experience scaling enterprise sales organizations and driving open source adoption and commercialization. Knight’s prior experience includes a decade long tenure at open source pioneer Red Hat, cloud computing pioneer Salesforce, and a number of successful start-ups.
Owen Garrett leads the product and go-to-market strategy for NGINX’s web acceleration and delivery technologies. Owen has over 15 years of experience in software engineering and product leadership at companies such as Riverbed. Today, Owen uses his technical and management expertise to optimize NGINX products and customer satisfaction.
Chris Stetson oversees the Controller engineering team, the NGINX Microservices Reference Architecture (MRA), and the NGINX professional services team. Previously, Chris architected and developed applications, including the first versions of Intel.com, Lexus.com, Microsoft.com, Sirius Satellite Radio, and Visa.com.
