In this lab, you’ll use the official OpenTelemetry libraries to set up manual and automatic instrumentation of your applications, and Jaeger to set up data generation and collection, tailor data to your needs, and visualize the data.

To get the most out of this lab, we recommend that you have a basic familiarity with the Linux command line, JavaScript, and Bash. It’s fine if you are not confident in some or all of these - all the code and commands will be provided along with explanations.
