Burzin Engineer is the co-founder of PhonePe, a mobile fintech application built for India, with a vision to build a large, scalable, and open transaction ecosystem that creates the maximum positive impact for all stakeholders. Burzin is a technology leader and executive with many years of experience solving real-world issues resulting in happy customers. His philosophy is to lead through merit and cooperation while ensuring company objectives remain the priority.

Damrongsak is the former Chief Cyber Security Officer at MFEC Public Company Limited, Thailand's leading systems integrator. His team is in charge of pre-sales, project delivery, and IT security service maintenance. His current focus is on becoming a technology evangelist. He stays current on the latest Open Source technologies and participating in the Open Source and Cybersecurity communities.

I'm working hard to structure cloud-native and stable infrastructure environment through introduction and technical support of NGINX. I started my career as a network engineer at an ISP. After working for F5 Networks Japan as a BIG-IP consultant and solution engineer, currently engaging for NGINX Technical Solutions Architect.

Jianfeng Luo is Sr. Solutions Engineer of NGINX China and contributor of open-source software OpenResty. Jianfeng has over 10-year experience of using NGINX and currently he works at F5 NGINX. He is familiar with NGINX C modules and software development with Lua/JavaScript. Jianfeng is also the author of two technical books – The Complete Guidance of NGINX Development, The Complete Guidance of OpenResty Development.

Joe Green is a writer based in Bristol, UK. He bought his first Mac and dial-up modem in 1992 and has worked in the tech industry since 2000. He writes for a variety of publications and specialises in networking, business process management systems and databases.

Johnny Tu is a technical training lead at Service Rocket, based in Sydney. He is a certified NGINX instructor and has authored parts of our official NGINX training curriculum. Prior to NGINX, Johnny has built and run technical training for Docker, Atlassian and Postman.

Laurent is Director of Solution Engineering for NGINX in APCJ, an F5 business unit. Originally from France and currently based in Singapore, Laurent and his team of solutions engineers support customers, and partners in deploying Application Services as well as application security to ease their digital transformation, and improve adoption of modern applications. Laurent has been with F5 for 16 years where he has been responsible for different areas of the business prior to joining the NGINX BU, starting as an SE Manager in France, then moving as a Partner SE Manager in APCJ. Before joining F5, Laurent help technical roles at Check Point and Dimension Data.

Michael Cheo is a Solutions Architect for NGINX, based in Singapore. With over 15years of experience in IT, Michael has gained end-to-end expertise in implementing technology solutions for enterprises across Asia. Michael has been with F5 Networks for the past 7 years and in early 2020, Michael moved to take on the role of Solutions Architect for the NGINX business unit. With his passion for agile methodologies and DevOps practices, Michael is helping customers across Asia to roll out NGINX modern application solutions. Prior to NGINX, Michael was a Specialist at Maxis Communications Bhd, and an Engineering Service Manager at Amdocs Interactive, to name a few. Michael has an Electronic Engineering degree from Multimedia University, majoring in Computer.

Mike Holland is a Technical Solutions Architect for NGINX ANZ, based in Sydney. Before becoming North America’s greatest loss and moving to Australia, Mike worked for many of F5’s US-based customers. After several years delivering and supporting the traditional F5 BIG-IP business as a Professional Services Consultant, Mike saw the light and decided to move to the NGINX business unit in 2020. His extensive experience in implementing big-scale monolithic enterprise architectures, meshed with his knowledge in end-to-end modern application delivery infrastructure gives Mike a leading edge in helping enable customers to migrate, design, and implement modern application architectures.

With over a decade of pioneering experience, Norbert started the NGINX Asia Pacific operations in 2017, and oversaw an explosion of NGINX in APAC, led the team, and built out an OSS community in-region. Based in Singapore, Norbert has extensive experience throughout Asia Pacific, having worked and lived in this region since 1992, specializing in growing companies in all aspects of the business. Norbert has worked and held executive positions at companies such as Lexmark, Oracle, Geac, WatchGuard, Astaro GmbH, KEMP and, most recently, NGINX. He has resided in Korea, Hong Kong, Singapore and Australia and successfully grown business in China, Japan, and India. Norbert’s career started in the IT industry in the early 1980’s as a programmer and system analyst. His focus then moved to sales and marketing where he progressed to executive levels within the Asia Pacific region. Norbert has extensive experience of initiating and sustaining growth for companies in the security and IT sector.

Rob is the VP, GM of NGINX, now part of F5. Overseeing engineering, product management, and marketing for the NGINX Product Group at F5. Maintaining dotted-line responsibility for NGINX sales, support, professional services, finance, HR, and legal resources within corporate F5. Rob joins NGINX from Hedvig, where he built the marketing function and helped launch the company from stealth. Prior to that, Rob was at Riverbed, where he held various marketing and operations roles, including GM of Riverbed’s Storage Delivery Business Unit. Before Rob got started in marketing, he spent 10 years in various analyst and executive roles at Forrester Research. When he left in 2012, Rob was responsible for 400 members of the research staff.

Samuel is a Regional Solutions Architect at NGINX (part of F5) based in Hong Kong. He is a senior technical manager who has deep understanding in solutions consulting, and professional services, especially in cloud, and security domains. Prior to NGINX, he has gained an extensive experience working as a cloud solutions architect in companies like Tencent, IBM and Microsoft.

Sandeep is a Regional Solutions Architect at NGINX based in Bangalore, India. He is a senior technical person who has deep understanding in SDN, NFV solutioning. He has setup help large complex architectures for customers in US and Europe. He is a blogger and his work has been published in ITNEXT.IO around resiliency in Kubernetes. Scott is a Solutions Architect at NGINX and F5, helping customers across Australia and New Zealand be successful in their software deployments. Scott focuses on emerging technology in DevOps, modern apps and automation, with particular interest and vast experience in APIs, service mesh, continuous deployment and microservices. Prior to joining F5, Scott was a solution architect at Red Hat. Scott has a long history of experience in Information Technology. He is passionate about open source technology and open data systems. He is currently the co-host and convenor of several community-based technology meetups, where he shares knowledge and draws inspiration from the people he meets.

Sean Maritz is a Technical Solutions Architect for the NGINX business unit of F5 Networks based in Sydney, Australia. Over the last 18 years he has supported the architecture and technical delivery of communication solutions for enterprise and government organizations across the Asia Pacific region. His extensive experience in unified communications, video streaming and content distribution across complex infrastructure and network designs compliments the NGINX suite of solutions. Sean is driven by his passion to share knowledge and experience of NGINX’s capabilities and vision.
Prior to NGINX, Sean worked for tech companies like Viocorp, InterCall, and Genesys Conferencing, to name a few.

Sumit Malhorta is the Chief Information Office and business leader at Times Internet, India’s largest digital products company with products that simplify and enhance the everyday lives of people since 1999. Sumit is a business-focused and result-oriented leader with over 20 years track record in digital and information technology management.

I've joined the NGINX Japan Team as an early member. Working as a Technical Solutions Architect in a pre-sales role at F5 NGINX. My background is in Internet DataCenter Networking and Software-Defined Networking, Ubuntu, A service of restaurants reviews and reservation on Web and iOS/Android with Public Cloud in Japan and Asia.

Tom is a Product Manager at NGINX responsible for Instance Manager. He started as a solutions architect and is based out of Atlanta, GA. Tom covers many technologies with a focus on Kubernetes, containers, Linux and virtualization. With a strong focus on DevOps and CI/CD pipelines, he is often automating functions with technologies like Ansible or implementing security to existing processes, such as selinux. Prior to NGINX, Tom worked as a solutions architect for Red Hat, covering southeastern enterprise accounts. Wenheng is F5 Solutions Engineer with over 11-year industry experience. Holding certificates like F5 401, JNCIE-SEC, ACP, VCP, he is an expert on security solutions of a variety of companies. Wenheng is dedicated to support digital transformation of customers with a focus on application delivery and application security. Especially, Wenheng has a strong interest in NGINX and K8s.
